Bienville Software, Inc. was a software company that developed mobile applications. Founded and led by the husband-and-wife team of Walter Gugenberger and Ellen Carmichael Gugenberger, the firm introduced NOMAD in late 2018, an app that let consumers locate participating food trucks, browse their menus, and place pickup orders from their phones.

NOMAD rolled out across the New Orleans area and later expanded to additional markets such as Houston. Co-founder Walter Gugenberger subsequently moved on to engineering roles at other companies, and Bienville Software no longer maintains a public web presence or active operations.
