Circuit Edit by Caesarea Labs — Product Research | aVenture Research
Circuit Edit is Caesarea Labs' software for the design stage of circuit edit, the workflow in which a lab modifies a physical chip to debug or prototype it. A design engineer states a solution hypothesis at the schematic level and supplies the chip layout; the platform translates that into a layout-level edit design specifying the connection points and metal layers a focused ion beam operator needs, replacing the manual exchange that the company says can stretch from weeks to months.
The product is offered to chip design teams as Circuit Edit Designer and to circuit edit labs as Circuit Edit Professional. Full-chip layout data stays inside the customer's own infrastructure, on premises or private cloud, and only the redacted subset of the layout required for a specific edit is generated and shared with the lab; transmission uses a segmented, multi-path routing mechanism that the company presents as preventing reconstruction of the original layout.
