Located in Fishtown, Philadelphia, Cake Life Bake Shop is co-owned by Lily Fischer and Nima Etemadi, best friends from college who quit other careers to become pastry chefs. Visit our new BYOB Café on bustling Frankford Avenue today! Native Philadelphian Lily Fischer worked as a preschool teacher before graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia's Baking and Pastry Program. In her spare time, Lily tames her Olde Kensington jungle-garden and makes her husband fat. Philadelphia-transplant Nima Etemadi, formerly assistant editor of Aperture magazine, is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute's Classic Pastry Arts program and the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts. In his spare time, Nima lounges on bear-skin rugs and makes himself fat.
