CAPSTONE combines coaxial rotors with modular vehicle, payload, and mission systems. Certo says standard external interfaces let operators change equipment for logistics, casualty evacuation, surveillance, and maritime assignments without redesigning the aircraft.
The company publishes limits of 300 kilograms payload, 300 miles range, and ten hours endurance. Its modular maintenance approach allows a faulty vehicle module to be replaced; these are manufacturer descriptions, not independently measured comparisons with rival aircraft.
