ClickStack launched on May 29, 2025, when ClickHouse announced the offering in a first-party blog post describing a high-performance open-source observability stack built on ClickHouse. The product grew out of ClickHouse's acquisition of HyperDX, which the company announced earlier in 2025, and the launch positioned HyperDX's interface as the front end of a unified stack spanning logs, metrics, traces, and session replay.
Later in 2025 ClickHouse expanded the offering with a managed ClickStack service on ClickHouse Cloud, announced in an August 2025 first-party post, while the open-source distribution remained available for self-managed deployment through the ClickHouse ClickStack GitHub repository and Helm charts.
