Convai began by filling the missing layer of infrastructure for integrating conversational AI with virtual environments, a gap identified in hundreds of conversations with virtual world developers. It is a conversational AI platform for games and virtual worlds, a developer platform for crafting non-player characters in 3D game engines. Its own products, Convai Avatar Studio and Convai Sim, cap how many simultaneous experiences can run on them.
