Cosmic-1, reported as Cosmic-1A in the company's April 2025 funding coverage, is a 10,000-pound, eight-wheeled, fully electric platform carrying a six-axis industrial manipulator that lifts and places solar panels autonomously on utility-scale solar farms. The company states the robot has more than doubled labor productivity over manual installation across tens of thousands of panels on United States projects, and its Particle AI platform processes sensor data in real time to automate quality assurance, asset tracking, and workflow management.
Cosmic-1 anchors the hardware layer of Cosmic Robotics' four-layer technology roadmap, which targets 300 kW-class fully electric construction-scale robots and autonomous construction as early as 2033. The company reports live deployments on United States solar farms, and the machine is designed to operate in dust, heat, rain, and mud.
