Connector that extends Smartling with additional MT engines and LLMs, tag/shortcode handling, and rare-dialect MT options.
The Smartling Connector acts as a central hub that routes Smartling translation requests through Custom.MT templates with selected engines and prompts before returning translated text to the Smartling workflow. This extends Smartling with additional MT engines and LLMs from one integration.
Supported engines include ModernMT, Tencent, Supertext, Globalese, XL8, PangeaMT, Yandex, and ChatGPT alongside custom-trained models. Glossary enforcement and central management keep terminology consistent across requests.
Adds products that compete with one of Custom.MT Smartling Connector’s direct competitors but not with Custom.MT Smartling Connector itself. They are shaded, and Linked Through names the direct competitor each one competes with.
