Cyborg

Enterprises adopting AI send embeddings and documents to infrastructure they do not control, where a storage breach or an operator can expose the underlying data. Cyborg builds encryption that holds through the whole query, not only at rest: its vector database searches ciphertext inside the customer's own environment, and its storage and file-sharing products keep keys with the user.

Where mainstream vector databases such as Qdrant, Weaviate, Milvus, and pgvector encrypt data at rest and then decrypt in order to search, Cyborg runs approximate nearest-neighbor search on encrypted indexes with per-field keys and customer-held KMS or HSM keys, so the operator never sees plaintext or keys. Cyborg positions itself as the cryptographic layer for confidential AI, selling to regulated industries that cannot move sensitive data to a conventional cloud.
