Competitive Advantages
Which advantages over its rivals hold up, and why are they hard to copy?
Driivz positions its Intelligence Layer, trained on operational data from some of the world's largest managed charging networks, as a differentiator for uptime, cost control, and profitability at scale. Self-healing algorithms and proactive diagnostics target charger stability and network availability.
The platform is certified by the Open Charge Alliance for OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1 and supports ISO 15118 plug-and-charge and vehicle-to-grid. As a Vontier company, Driivz pairs its software focus with a global industrial footprint and access to critical-infrastructure customers.
Market Outlook
Is its category moving in its favor or against it?
Driivz cites IEA Global EV Outlook 2025 projections of roughly 250 million EVs on roads by 2030 and about 115 million charging points deployed globally, framing network profitability and reliability as the industry's next bottleneck.
The company is investing in interoperability, cybersecurity, and AI-native operations, with future focus on vehicle-to-grid, energy storage, and grid-support use cases that turn charging sites into flexible energy assets.
Memo
What is the investment case, and what must be true for it to hold?
Driivz is a Vontier company operating the Driivz brand globally, with headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina, and an Israeli office in Hod HaSharon. Shiri Levi-Laor became CEO in January 2026, succeeding prior leadership; she previously served as Driivz COO and held roles at SAP, Salesforce, and Amdocs.
The executive team spans a chief financial officer, chief revenue officer, chief product officer, chief engineering officer, and VP marketing. Driivz was founded in 2013 and serves charging networks across more than 35 countries.
Pricing Strategy
How does its pricing position it against rivals?
Driivz operates an enterprise SaaS model: a cloud-based subscription software platform sold directly to charging network operators, with contracts tailored to network scale rather than public per-port price lists.
Monetization support is built into the product, with configurable tariffs, multi-currency billing, and payment gateway integrations that let operators tailor pricing to drivers and business customers.
Product Overview
What does the product do for its buyer, and how is it delivered?
The Driivz platform is a modular, OCPP-certified EV charging and energy management software suite for charge point operators, e-mobility service providers, EV fleets, utilities, fuel retailers, and automakers. Core modules manage charging operations, EV charging billing, smart energy management, white-label driver apps, and reporting and analytics.
Complementary layers include Driivz InSite for fleet planning, the Network Optimizer for incident management and automated remediation, and Driivz AI, an intelligence layer trained on cross-network operational data. The hardware-agnostic platform supports more than 2,200 OCPP-certified charger models across deployments in over 35 countries.
An example of published research
Unit Economics on TEKEVER, shown as an example.
TEKEVER's programme ceiling is up to £400 million over ten years, so revenue per aircraft cannot be computed; fleet size and the support TEKEVER carries set the conditions for value capture. The AR5 was selected to replace the ageing Watchkeeper drones, and on 24 July 2026 the Ministry of Defence published a transparency notice announcing a direct award to TEKEVER for Project CORVUS, with the notice not the contract itself.
The initial order will be for six AR5 drones, with up to 24 delivered by 2029. Subject to contract signature and final approvals, TEKEVER will support the capability for an initial period of at least five years, with options to extend. CORVUS will anchor TEKEVER's growing UK sovereign capability across engineering, manufacturing, training and operational support.
