Dynocardia is a blood pressure monitoring device company that began in 2015, when a founding team supported by MIT and Tufts started searching for a fundamentally new approach to continuously and automatically measure blood pressure. It developed ViTrack, the first standalone, wearable, cuff-less, continuous, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring device, based on its proprietary method and technology, with an optomechanical tactile sensor array that measures spatiotemporal-force distribution at the micron level.
Per preliminary testing to industry standards, ViTrack's methodology is shown to be as accurate as the gold-standard auscultatory method. Its listed continuity-of-care settings are ICU, critical care, operating room, dialysis and EMS, and its listed outpatient settings are home monitoring, wellness and prevention, chronic disease management and telemedicine.
