Easy Aerial sells two system families and the controller that flies them. Easy Mobile mounts on vehicles and vessels, weighs 145.2 lbs without payload, carries 4.4 lbs to a tethered ceiling of 200 or 330 feet, and stays airborne while the host platform moves at up to 25 mph on land or 25 knots at sea. Easy Site is the heavier ground-based system at 233.2 lbs, offered in a free-flight configuration that self-deploys on a sensor trigger or schedule and a tethered configuration with 6.6 lbs of payload and unlimited flight time.
Both families share an Intel i7 internal web server, remote command from any location, and a stated all-weather wind tolerance of 25 mph. The Easy Aerial Remote handheld ground station is an industrial tablet built on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, with an AES-256 encrypted, FIPS 140-2 compatible datalink and an adjustable 1 W 2x2 MIMO radio.
Easy Aerial raised its $20 million Series B into a defense-tech funding environment where, in Dealroom's reading, capital increasingly follows companies that already hold signed government contracts and manufacture domestically. At $20 million the round sat in the 51st percentile by size for its type, mid-pack rather than exceptional, which suggests investors are pricing execution and procurement access rather than speculative scale.
The company says it is expanding production capacity, international operations, and international defense programs on the back of new US and overseas contracts. The countervailing risk is political rather than technical: the February 2026 loss of its Brooklyn Navy Yard lease showed that a defense-adjacent manufacturer's access to publicly owned industrial space can turn on local politics and its foreign customer list.
Easy Aerial's strongest commercial asset is procurement eligibility. Two of its multi-rotor drones sit on the Defense Department's Blue UAS Cleared List, which certifies that a system meets congressionally mandated requirements and is therefore purchasable by the Department of Defense and federal agencies. The company also states all its products are NDAA compliant and that it holds ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification, and it manufactures in the United States with additional production capacity in Europe.
The tethered architecture is a second differentiator. Data-over-power tethers give unlimited flight time and a wired data path rather than an over-the-air link, and the systems hold position over a moving ground station in GPS-denied environments. That combination targets buyers who need continuous overwatch and cannot accept either a battery-limited duty cycle or a jammable navigation dependency.
