ENRICH in the USA paired European public funding with United States university infrastructure, giving European researchers and startups soft-landing programmes, workspace and incubation through partner universities including Temple, George Mason, Cal Poly and Purdue. That university-anchored structure is not easily reproduced by commercial accelerators.
Its funding summits at CES, SXSW, RSA and BIO put selected European startups directly in front of United States investors and government representatives. Because Horizon 2020 covered the cost, participation carried no fee for the European teams selected through its open calls.

The initiative's transatlantic market-entry work sat inside European public innovation funding, so its operating horizon tracked the Horizon 2020 NearUS grant, which closed at the end of September 2020. Visible activity on the initiative's own channels is concentrated in the period through 2023, with partner universities and the ENRICH Global association carrying the network afterwards.
European startups seeking United States market entry are now served mainly by national trade and innovation agencies and by university and private accelerators. Successor channels rather than a renewed United States programme therefore define the competitive landscape for these internationalisation services.

ENRICH in the USA did not apply a single commercial price to its programmes. Advisory sessions, webinars and the conference immersion and virtual landing offers ran under European Union Horizon 2020 funding (grant agreement 733286), with places allocated through open, transparent selection rather than purchase.
The J-1 Soft Landing Program was priced by desk, at 1,400 to 2,500 US dollars per month billed quarterly to Temple University SBDC as the ENRICH lead coordinator in the United States. Funding-summit category winners received cash prizes of 500 US dollars, and leading companies gained access to transatlantic support and soft-landing services valued at 200,000 US dollars.
