Flo is backed by LiveOak Venture Partners and Moneta Ventures, which led a $4.2 million round announced in August 2023 with participation from Tau Ventures and Alumni Ventures.
A Series A announced in 2025 was led by LiveOak Ventures and Moneta Ventures, with The LegalTech Fund, Y Combinator, and Teamworthy Ventures taking part. That investor group supplies both capital and legal-industry connections for expanding the recruiting ecosystem.
Flo sells to law firms, law schools, search firms, and public-interest employers across the legal hiring market. The company reports serving 70% of AmLaw 100 firms, 85% of Top 50 law schools, more than 40,000 law students and associates, and over 500 search firm users.
Its applicant tracking product is used by more than 80 law firms, according to company statements. That reach covers both the employer-side recruiting teams and the school-side programs that supply entry-level legal hiring.
Flo runs a legal talent platform that spans recruiting, development, and retention for legal employers. Flo Applicant Tracking manages candidate profiles, job postings, search firm submissions, interview scheduling, digital review packets, and live reporting across entry-level, lateral, partner, and business services hiring.
The suite also includes Flo Forward, which is aimed at law students and early-career attorneys, together with pipeline building, performance management, and work allocation. Flo AI is offered as an add-on that answers recruiting questions against the recruiting data held by the firm.
