The GATE Jetpack is a self-contained mobility unit that integrates into ESPA-class satellites in a plug-and-play form factor, offered in three sizes: Jetpack S (36,000 Ns total impulse, 36 kg wet mass, 300 m/s delta-V for satellites around 100 kg), Jetpack M (80,000 Ns, 80 kg) and Jetpack L (140,000 Ns, 105 kg). All variants fit 15-24 inch ESPA ports and SpaceX rideshare ports with a roughly nine-month lead time, and the Jetpack S carries a listed base price of EUR 450,000.

The system is built around four thrusters running on storable green propellants (ethane and nitrous oxide) with 270-300 s specific impulse and deep throttling down to 1:10, and is engineered for constellation-scale deployment. GATE Space has validated the underlying engine technology in more than 8,000 hot-fire tests and plans the first in-orbit demonstration aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 in 2026.
