GE Plastics was the engineering thermoplastics division of General Electric, headquartered in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The business manufactured polycarbonate resins under the LEXAN brand, ABS/polycarbonate alloys under CYCOLOY, modified polyphenylene oxide under NORYL, polyetherimide under ULTEM, and long-fibre thermoplastic composites under LNP. It served the automotive, electronics, healthcare, and construction end markets.

In May 2007, General Electric agreed to sell GE Plastics to Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) for USD 11.6 billion. The transaction closed on August 31, 2007. Following the acquisition, GE Plastics was renamed SABIC Innovative Plastics, continuing to operate as a wholly owned SABIC subsidiary focused on high-performance engineering resins.
