Overview

Vault is HashiCorp's secrets management product for controlling access to secrets and protecting credentials across applications, machines, and AI agents. It manages identity-based access to sensitive data and stops credentials from falling into the wrong hands.

Vault provides centralized secrets storage, encryption, and dynamic credential generation across hybrid cloud environments. It is offered as an open-source community edition and through the managed HashiCorp Cloud Platform with enterprise features.
