Hohonu Measure is a managed water level monitoring service in which preconfigured radar and ultrasonic stations mount on existing infrastructure such as roads, bridges, culverts, canals, and tidal waterways. Stations run on solar power with cellular telemetry, typically transmit readings every four to twelve minutes, and backfill queued data when connectivity drops.
Hohonu handles installation, datum setup, automated and human quality checks, station-health monitoring, and covered replacement hardware, and delivers data through maps, dashboards, CSV exports, and an API. The service is sold per site per year, and a Texas DIR cooperative purchasing contract supports procurement by public agencies across dozens of states.
