Memo

In June 2026 Korn Ferry agreed to acquire AMS, a talent outsourcing and advisory company, from OMERS for approximately 850 million pounds, comprising around 659 million pounds in cash and approximately 191 million pounds in stock. The company funded the transaction with cash on hand and drawings under its revolving credit facility, expecting the deal to close in the second quarter of fiscal 2027.

The acquisition closed on September 1, 2026, with Korn Ferry paying approximately 473 million pounds plus 326 million dollars in cash and issuing about 3.1 million shares. Management described the combination as immediately accretive excluding integration costs, citing AMS run-rate fee revenue of about 650 million dollars.

Competitive Advantages

Korn Ferry combines a long-established executive search franchise with an advisory and outsourcing platform of roughly 17,000 colleagues across more than 130 offices. That blend of search relationships and consulting delivery gives it repeat access to chief executive and board-level buyers.

The 2026 acquisition of AMS added technology-enabled recruitment process outsourcing scale, long-term contracted client relationships, and over 1.5 billion dollars in estimated remaining contracted fees. The firm also serves as an official talent partner for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, raising its profile with large employers.
