LBT manufactures circular-knit jersey garments for luxury and premium fashion brands in Europe and the United States.
LBT keeps every garment-making step under one roof, from fabric inspection and cutting to embroidery, digital printing, hanging-garment packing and a six-phase quality control that clears each stage before the next. Gerber CAD/CAM lines and internal PLM and CRM systems keep throughput high and errors low.
Delivery is fast for the sector: five to six weeks on average, or four weeks under a never-out-of-stock service for selected customers and fabrics, helped by a partnership with a fabric finisher that specialises in Lyocell and Tencel jersey. LBT sources GOTS- and Oeko-Tex-certified fabrics where customers require certified inputs.

LBT sells into international markets where a single customer loss moves its top line, so the order book follows the buying cycles of a small number of fashion houses. The departure of one client worth about 2.5 million euros of turnover pushed the company to redesign its commercial strategy and dedicate teams exclusively to selling abroad.
Production is concentrated in one industrial unit in Neiva, Viana do Castelo, and capacity growth has come from buying two other producers in the same region, Ravone and Carycos, rather than from a second owned plant. By the end of 2022 the company expected to double its pre-pandemic turnover, to about 11 million euros.

Luxury apparel manufacturing has proved more resilient than the wider consumer market, and the company is expected to keep expanding in that segment. Demand comes from luxury apparel houses, which LBT serves from Portugal.
Iberis Capital built the business up over six years by recruiting a new management team, increasing production capacity and signing new partnerships with luxury brands, then sold it in 2024. The sale was run as a competitive process with a restricted set of pre-qualified partners chosen for their fit with the company.
