Lumafield: Pioneering accessible X-Ray CT scanners and cloud software for swift problem-solving in engineering.
Lumafield is positioned as a manufacturing quality command center, connecting laboratory measurement with automated production inspection. Demand is driven by aerospace, automotive, electronics and heavy industry programs that need faster non-destructive testing.
As large dense parts move through electrification and lightweighting programs, high-energy large-format CT capacity becomes a constraint. Lumafield's Saturn launch and Voyager cloud platform target that gap with scalable inspection workflows.

Lumafield announced a 75 million dollar Series C financing led by IVP in March 2025, bringing total venture backing past prior rounds. The round followed a 35 million dollar Series B led by Spark Capital in September 2022.
Later in 2025 the company added a 50 million dollar credit facility from Silicon Valley Bank to support manufacturing and deployment scale. The memo takeaway is a well-capitalized scanner platform pairing venture equity with debt capacity.

Lumafield sells three CT scanners alongside Voyager cloud software for visualization, measurement, CAD comparison and AI-assisted analysis. Neptune is the workshop scanner for design validation and flaw detection, running on standard 120-volt power with a Performance tier for faster metrology-grade scans.
Triton is the automated production-line system delivering full 3D reconstructions in as little as ten seconds per part. Saturn is the large-format high-energy scanner for big dense parts, handling diameters up to 580 millimeters and heights to 1100 millimeters for aerospace, automotive, electronics and heavy industry.
