Eligibility for membership includes past and present paid members of the Lynn Fire Department, Swampscott Fire Department, and Nahant Fire Department, along with their spouses, children, parents, grandparents, and siblings.
Lynn Firemen’s Federal Credit Union offers savings rates of 4% APY for a 1-year CD, 3% for a 6-month CD, 0.10% for regular shares, and 0.50% for IRA accounts. Deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration, with excess amounts insured by Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corporation.
