MMKT Exchange was a digital exchange set up to introduce efficiency, liquidity and transparency to the outdated middle market loan syndication process. It ran a technology platform on which qualified institutions and lenders could view and purchase middle market loans in a centralized marketplace. Its business line was a technology platform for syndicating middle market loans.

MMKT's focus was automating a syndication process that had remained inefficient and materially unchanged for decades, and had made it hard for smaller institutions to access those loans. It set itself apart on mechanism, offering that marketplace at transaction sizes smaller than had previously been practical, and it targeted middle market loan origination platforms, sponsors and borrowers.
