AWS launches Strands Harness, an open-source AI agent designed to help developers move prototypes from local machines into scalable deployments across AWS and other cloud environments. It runs on the Strands framework, supports frontier models and local Ollama models, and includes file, shell, web-search, memory, and context-management tools.
