Moonvalley, a Los Angeles-based AI video startup, reports raising about $53 million from 14 unnamed investors in an SEC filing, including an additional $10 million beyond previously disclosed funding. PitchBook estimates the company’s total funding at about $124 million, following a $70 million seed round in November. Its Marey model offers camera and motion controls and generates HD clips up to 30 seconds, while the company says it uses licensed training datasets and plans safeguards such as creator content removal and copyright indemnity.
