Ole operated an on-demand service delivering luxury fashion from nearby boutiques to shoppers within the hour.
Ole folded the return step into the delivery itself, letting customers hand unwanted items straight back to the waiting courier instead of mailing them back over following days. Its fifty-minute promise compared with the ninety-minute window of London-based competitor NIFT, and bicycle couriers supported a lower-emission model in a fashion industry responsible for roughly a tenth of global greenhouse gas emissions.
The company reported a $450 average order value and about forty percent of users making repeat purchases, and it pointed to positive unit economics that it attributed to order values well above typical on-demand businesses.

Ole targeted the expensive return cycle in online fashion, a problem a 2022 Pitney Bowes survey put at twenty-one percent of order value for United States online retailers. Public comparisons at the time named few direct rivals, such as London-based NIFT, for its home fitting-room model.
The company stated plans to expand to more United States and European cities in 2024. The service ended in January 2025 before that expansion was recorded, and the company's website has since gone offline.

The Ole app let shoppers browse and order from nearby luxury boutiques such as Miu Miu, Acne Studios, and Isabel Marant, with deliveries promised in about fifty minutes by bicycle courier. A try-at-home flow gave customers roughly fifteen minutes at the door to keep what they wanted and hand back the rest, paying for retained items plus a five-dollar delivery fee.
The service was available on iOS through the App Store and operated in New York City, with stated plans to reach additional United States and European cities. Revenue came from a 25 percent commission charged to partner retailers rather than from holding inventory.
