HALE 1.0 pairs two 6-plus-1 degree-of-freedom arms rated 9 lb nominal and 15 lb peak per arm with a 180 lb telescoping lift, front and rear LiDAR, and RGB plus depth cameras, and runs a cloud planner beside an on-robot manipulation policy so no onboard GPU is required.
New tasks start from two to four hours of human demonstrations, and failures captured on real work floors feed the reinforcement learning pipeline. OS3 designs and builds the robot in San Francisco, California.
