Pascal Engineering supplies a quick mold change system for injection molding machines that combines hydraulic and pneumatic clamps, magnetic platens, control units and mold handling equipment. The system is configured to the machine type, tonnage and available platen space, and can address two-color, vertical-loading and horizontal-loading presses. Clamps are automated so molds are fastened, positioned and released with less manual bolt-up work.
The offering extends beyond clamping to locating and positioning devices such as locate rings, die stoppers, die setters and die levelers, together with automatic and manual multi-couplers, ejector rods, mold rotators and die changers. Pascal positions the system around reduced changeover downtime and safer mold handling for injection molding, metal stamping, die casting and machining customers.
