The Krstov Dol Mine is a historical antimony mining operation which shutdown in 1981 due to low antimony prices. Notably, the Krstov Dol Mine restart is the first antimony project to be registered with the Minerals Security Partnership.
Luke KP lies on the Tethyan Belt, where exploration identified greenschist and amphibolite facies metamorphic rocks intruded by andesitic to trachytic igneous rocks. Economic minerals like antimony, gold, zinc, lead, and copper occur as intrusions, hydrothermal, and disseminated deposits.
Leveraging on the †GKZ-classified maiden ore reserves approved by the North Macedonian Department of Mineral Resources, exploration work targeting an expanded, maiden Mineral Resource Estimate in accordance with the JORC Code is planned for 2026.
