Digital procurement platform connecting construction contractors and developers with building-materials suppliers and factories.
SupplyPro aggregates demand across many contractors and developers rather than serving a single buyer, which gives participating factories and suppliers a consolidated route to housing and construction programmes and lets buyers reach suppliers directly rather than through layered intermediaries. Combining sourcing with payment management, financing options, and delivery tracking in one platform concentrates several steps that contractors otherwise handle across separate systems and channels.
The platform inherits standing from its operators: it carries National Housing Company branding and was built with Penny Software, whose procurement software is already used by enterprises and government entities in Saudi Arabia. Its alignment with national housing and local-content programmes gives it a position that a privately operated marketplace would have to establish on its own.
The platform operates within programmes tied to a national housing agenda, so its pipeline follows public housing and construction activity and the procurement policies attached to it rather than purely commercial demand. That concentration means a slowdown in housing delivery or a change in programme priorities propagates into platform volumes.
It also depends on supply-side participation: its usefulness rests on factories and suppliers listing materials and bidding through it, and on contractors and developers adopting the platform in place of established supplier relationships. Its financing and logistics components add service partners and operational obligations beyond software alone.
SupplyPro was introduced as a joint initiative between National Housing Company and Penny Software, announced in January 2025 to digitise procurement for the housing sector and connect NHC contractors with pre-approved suppliers. The platform was subsequently launched by NHC Innovation, the digital arm NHC established in January 2025, and reported at launch as carrying over 1,500 products supplied by 129 factories and 45 suppliers.
The offering has since expanded beyond the original contractor-to-supplier catalogue. Its stated scope now covers a wider set of building-material categories, financing options alongside purchasing, and a logistics park platform for leasing in integrated logistics zones, with procurement extended toward regional manufacturers.
SupplyPro is a national digital platform for procurement in Saudi Arabia's construction and building sector. It connects contractors and developers with factories and building-materials suppliers in one environment, across categories including tiles, doors, windows, gypsum, paints, electrical items, sanitary wares, HVAC equipment, water tanks, and pumps.
Buyers raise requests for quotation that suppliers bid against, and the platform carries each transaction through orders, invoicing, and settlement. Financing options, order-to-delivery tracking, a logistics park leasing programme, and a standard specifications guide accompany the core sourcing workflow.
