Pivotal Commware secured venture capital, including from Bill Gates, to commercialize holographic beamforming technology using passive electronically steered antennas for micro- and millimeter-wave radio frequencies.

Pivotal Commware develops software-defined antenna systems in Seattle. Its Holographic Beamforming Antenna technology dynamically controls antenna beam profiles with lower cost, size, weight, and power consumption than traditional phased-array systems.

Pivotal Commware introduces Spotlight, a unit-level fixed wireless access (FWA) qualification capability inside WaveScape, and Cyclops, a portable Holographic Beam Forming scanner for locating 5G mmWave signals. The company announces the products ahead of Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona.
