Poke is a personal AI assistant delivered through mainstream messaging platforms rather than a standalone application. Users text it on Apple Messages, SMS, Telegram, and WhatsApp in supported markets, and it carries out everyday tasks such as managing email, scheduling meetings, setting reminders, tracking health data, planning travel, and editing photos.
The product connects to external services including Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, and Oura through configurable recipes, and developers can build custom integrations with the Poke Kitchen toolkit. It offers Free, Pro, and Ultra subscription tiers, and in June 2026 it became the first AI agent approved to run on Apples Messages for Business platform.

The company challenged restrictions on AI competitors within WhatsApp before European authorities, securing interim measures from the European Commission and a favorable Italian antitrust ruling, and it holds first-mover status as the only AI agent verified to text natively on Apple Messages.
