Medical Device Communicator, or MeDiC, is PostDICOM software that links existing PACS, DICOM workstations, and imaging devices to the PostDICOM cloud platform. It communicates over standard DICOM protocols including C-Store, C-Find, C-Get, and C-Move.
The software runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux and supports imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, endoscopy, PET, and angiography. Users configure PACS server settings per operating system to enable device connectivity.
