Productsup provides a product content syndication platform that processes over two trillion products monthly across more than 2,500 integrations.
Productsup has pursued capital-efficient growth: founded in 2010, it raised modest external funding before a $70M+ Series B in 2022 and describes its platform as defining the P2C software category.
According to TechCrunch, Productsup disclosed less than $24 million raised in its first twelve years, and the company says it grew to over 1,000 enterprise customers while handling more monthly data requests than Google's consumer search service. Since co-founder Johannis Hatt returned as CEO in January 2025, stated priorities are profitable growth and continuous product innovation.
Productsup is a Berlin-based product-to-consumer (P2C) software company whose platform consolidates product content onboarding, optimization and syndication for brands, retailers and marketplaces.
The platform distributes product content across more than 2,500 marketing and selling channels, including marketplaces, social platforms, comparison sites, data pools and emerging AI channels, and processes over two trillion products per month. The company reports more than 1,000 global companies, including L'Oréal, PUMA, Sephora and ALDI, use the platform.
Productsup's market thesis is built on channel proliferation: the growing number of consumer touchpoints keeps expanding the volume and complexity of product data distribution.
CEO Vincent Peters described a landscape of commerce fragmentation in which brands cannot predict whether consumers are on TikTok, Meta or in-store, and cited Constellation Research estimating an $11.4 billion total addressable market for e-commerce channel management. More recently the company has emphasized agentic commerce, adding export support for AI surfaces such as ChatGPT and Gemini and partnering with InMobi's Glance in August 2026.
Productsup positions its platform as a single system of record for product information value chains, in contrast to the point solutions common in feed management and syndication.
Bregal Milestone's managing partner stated the investment thesis rested on Productsup offering a single view of all product information value chains with end-to-end, real-time control across global channels, whereas alternative vendors mostly offer point solutions. The 2022 acquisition of World of Content added GS1 GDSN support and product content syndication depth, extending the platform's range in FMCG, beauty and healthcare verticals.
The feed management and commerce-data category is crowded, and Productsup competes with both scaled platforms and aggressive point-solution vendors.
TechCrunch's 2022 coverage notes the e-commerce tooling space is crowded, with rivals openly bidding on 'productsup competitor' search terms, and names Salesforce and Shopware as aggressive players in adjacent commerce infrastructure. Because Productsup does not disclose revenue figures, independent assessment of its scale relative to larger competitors relies on third-party estimates.
