Product Overview

Proliferate is an open-source workspace for engineering teams to run multiple coding agents in parallel. It provides isolated git worktrees and cloud sandboxes, shared MCP integrations, scheduled workflows, and built-in review surfaces so agents can work on independent tasks without conflicting.

The workspace supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, and Grok through their native harnesses, preserving each agent's authentication, tools, and transcript behavior. Teams can self-host the server or use the hosted Proliferate Cloud beta.

Competitive Advantages

Proliferate keeps credentials and code under the customer's control by running agents locally or in self-hosted cloud sandboxes. It supports multiple agent harnesses natively, shares integrations across sessions, and offers team review and scheduling features that generic single-agent tools do not provide.

Because it is open source under AGPL-3.0, teams can inspect, modify, and deploy the platform on their own infrastructure. The shared workspace model also lets agents delegate work to one another and produces live, multiplayer sessions for team verification.

Pricing Strategy

Proliferate's core workspace is open source and free to self-host. A hosted Proliferate Cloud service is in beta with a self-serve waitlist, and enterprise deployments add controls such as SSO, SCIM, and air-gapped operation.

The company does not require new subscriptions or API keys; customers use their existing agent logins and provider credentials, with optional self-hosted model gateways for centralized budgeting.
