The Quantum Beach Chair Shoulder Positioning System positions patients for beach-chair shoulder surgery on standard surgical tables 16 to 26 inches wide. A patent-protected self-centering Halo and Cradle head support secures the head during powered patient elevation, and the frame is rated to 500 pounds.
The system mounts to the table's leg-section side rails without clamps and allows full-time bilateral and circumferential shoulder access. It ships with a non-operative arm support and leg bolster, and Quantum OPS first marketed the design as the QSP-7 before the completed system reached the market in 2012.
