Redivivum grew out of a university textile-recycling project in London, where a fashion-business student and a mechanical-engineering student found that the manual work behind secondhand clothing could be automated. The company builds AI-assisted software that digitizes garments for circular-fashion businesses, identifying, inspecting, and grading items and creating cross-platform listings and SKU indexes from them.
Its computer-vision models recognize garment types, defects, brands, and sizes, so resale service providers, vintage stores, and third-party logistics companies can move returned and pre-loved clothing toward resale without processing every piece by hand. The founders point to extended producer responsibility rules for textiles in Europe as the shift pushing sorting and recycling operators toward technology-led facilities, and the team trains its proprietary models on garment data collected from resale and sorting sites across the EU and UK.
