Renn set out to give small business owners the proactive, tax-minimising accounting that large companies have long kept for themselves, and now runs it as a subscription accounting service for the Spanish self-employed. Its service lines cover autónomo registration, automated bookkeeping and expense capture, compliant e-invoicing, and quarterly and annual tax filing for individuals and Spanish limited companies.
The product pairs a self-driving finance platform — expenses pulled from bank and email accounts, dashboards for VAT, social security and income tax — with an assigned human accountant reachable on WhatsApp, so routine filings need minutes of review rather than a standing engagement with a traditional accountancy practice. It targets the English-speaking expat and freelancer community in Spain, a customer base most Spanish-first accounting software and local practices do not serve in English.
