Revel has broken ground on 24 fast EV chargers at JFK Airport, doubling the airport’s existing charging capacity. Built with New York’s Port Authority, the site at JFK’s west cell phone lot will support CCS and NACS and is expected to be completed in 2025; the chargers can take vehicles from 20% to 80% in 15 to 20 minutes. Revel is funding the installation as part of its charging network expansion.

At Climate Week NYC, he recommends forward offtake agreements, in which customers commit to buying a set volume at a specified price and date, as a demand signal for investors. Adler says disruptive technologies historically scale after reaching 10%–20% adoption, while growth-stage climate-tech deals fell 33% in the first half of 2024 year over year.
