Backend API for guideline management and LLM inference
The Quack Backend API is the self-hostable server layer of the Quack suite. It exposes guideline management endpoints and a code chat endpoint consumed by the Quack Companion extension and the web chat client.
Deployment uses Docker, with an NVIDIA GPU recommended to run LLM inference locally through Ollama, and online providers such as Groq or OpenAI available for machines without a GPU. Local installations serve their endpoint documentation at localhost:5050/docs.
