Runway Gen-4.5 is Runway's flagship text-to-video and image-to-video generation model. Launched in 2025, it builds on Gen-4 with advances in pre-training efficiency and post-training techniques, delivering cinematic, highly realistic video with strong temporal consistency and precise controllability.

Gen-4.5 supports multiple generation modes, including text-to-video, image-to-video, keyframes, video-to-video and native audio generation, and is optimized to run on NVIDIA Hopper and Blackwell GPUs. It is available across all paid Runway subscription plans.
