Sitka, Alaska — January 3, 2023, Silver Bay Seafoods announced today the acquisition of 100% of the value-added food processing company Orca Bay Foods.

Trident Seafoods and Silver Bay Seafoods reached an agreement in principle for Silver Bay Seafoods to acquire Trident’s Ketchikan processing facility. The companies were conducting due diligence and negotiating final documents, with the sale expected to close in April 2024.
