Skydio VT300 packages combine visual and radiometric thermal cameras for inspection and observation with X10 aircraft.
The VT300 configurations offer different visual fields of view alongside a shared radiometric thermal capability. Operators can choose the telephoto package for distant observation or the wide-camera package for large scenes at shorter distances.
The thermal module captures temperature information as well as visible scene detail. Skydio combines the sensor hardware with image processing and flight applications, allowing the payload to participate in the X10's inspection and mapping workflows.
VT300-L is designed for work that benefits from a wide field of view, including surveying, mapping, photogrammetry, and close structural inspection. Its onboard light supports visual capture when ambient illumination is limited.
Skydio states that VT300-L works with Flight Deck, Remote Flight Deck, and 3D Scan. Compatibility with these applications matters when an operator selects a sensor package for an existing X10 workflow.
Skydio's VT300-L availability announcement directs customers to an account manager or the company's sales team to purchase the package. This is a provider-assisted purchasing process for a configurable aircraft payload.
The announcement describes first-come shipment scheduling and identifies the camera and thermal components included in the package. An operator can use those specifications and software compatibility details when arranging a purchase.
Skydio's VT300 sensor packages combine visual cameras and radiometric thermal imaging for the X10 aircraft. The VT300-Z configuration includes narrow and telephoto cameras, while VT300-L pairs narrow and wide cameras with onboard illumination.
Both configurations use a Teledyne FLIR Boson+ thermal module for temperature-sensitive imagery. The packages support aerial inspection and situational awareness tasks where operators need to examine structures or identify objects from a distance.
