Portable anodic-stripping voltammetry analyzer that gives water and laboratory analysts parts-per-billion heavy-metal results on site in minutes.
The HM-3000P is a portable water-quality analyzer that Skyray Instrument built around anodic stripping voltammetry, an authority-approved standard method for trace metals, to move parts-per-billion heavy-metal measurement out of the laboratory. It covers copper, cadmium, lead, zinc, mercury, arsenic, chromium, nickel, manganese and thallium in a suitcase-sized unit rated IP67 for dust and water resistance.
The HM-3000P's case for on-site work is portability: Skyray specifies detection down to one part per billion and a test time of thirty seconds to five minutes, matching the on-site testing of contaminated water it is aimed at. Its edge over laboratory-bound analyzers is mobility rather than the breadth of a full laboratory suite, which is the trade its field-portable voltammetric design makes.
