Snowflake Secure Data Sharing enables providers to share selected Snowflake data with consumers without copying the underlying data.
Snowflake Secure Data Sharing lets a provider grant consumers access to selected database objects without copying the underlying data. Shared data remains in the provider's Snowflake account while authorized consumers query it from their own accounts.
Providers control which objects are exposed and can manage access centrally as the shared information changes. Consumers receive read-only access to current data, avoiding extract-and-transfer workflows and reducing duplicate data storage.
Adds products that compete with one of Snowflake Secure Data Sharing’s direct competitors but not with Snowflake Secure Data Sharing itself. They are shaded, and Linked Through names the direct competitor each one competes with.
