Arjun Raj is a professor of bioengineering and genetics at the University of Pennsylvania and an early developer of single molecule FISH. His research develops quantitative techniques and models to study cellular function and behavior.
Barbara Wold is the Bren Professor of Molecular Biology and director of Caltech’s Merkin Institute for Translational Research. Her group contributed genomic technologies including LM-PCR, ChIP-seq, and RNA-seq, and she advised Solexa on functional genomics.
Hau Duong joined Spatial Genomics as Vice President of Engineering in 2021 and has over 25 years of experience in R&D, engineering, product development, and manufacturing. He co-founded SAFCell and served as its Chief Operating Officer, and was VP of R&D for Gyrus, a subsidiary of Olympus.
Kirsten Frieda is CEO of Spatial Genomics, which she co-founded. She previously worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group, advising healthcare companies and nonprofits.
