Superlogical's first product is a terminal multiplexer that organizes multiple terminal blocks inside a long-lived session. Users can close the application, reconnect from another device, and resume exactly where they left off; sessions are accessible through the web and native macOS/iOS applications, and sharing a live session with other people is built in from the start.
The multiplexer is intended as the foundation for a broader durable-session layer that unifies interactive work, automatic work, and production work across local development machines, remote hosts, sandboxes, services, coding agents, background jobs, and incident response.
The market for developer tooling that spans local, remote, and agentic work is expanding as engineering teams distribute workflows across machines and autonomous systems. Existing tools typically handle one mode well—interactive terminals, CI pipelines, or remote sessions—but few unify them under a single durable session primitive.
Superlogical is entering this space at the terminal layer, where most developer workflows still converge. If its multiplexer becomes a shared substrate for humans, agents, and production jobs, it could capture attention from developers and platform teams looking to reduce context switching and tool sprawl.
The Superlogical team has deep experience building widely used developer tools and infrastructure. The founders helped create HashiCorp, Ghostty, Vercel's design language, and products at Heroku and Clearbit, giving them credibility in developer experience and terminal tooling.
Starting with a terminal multiplexer lets the company build on libghostty, an established open-source terminal component, while positioning the durable session as a primitive for agents, CI, remote development, and production operations.
