The platform combines binding to several cancer antigens in one engineered construct, aiming to address tumors that do not express one target at high levels. Company scientists report greater internalization and potency for an initial myeloma construct than the comparator molecules in cell experiments.
The AACR abstract also describes logic-gated activity, developability, and IgG-like pharmacokinetics in preclinical work. Those reported properties could differentiate the design from conventional single-target ADCs, subject to independent validation and clinical testing.
The 2025 company release said Synthetic Design Lab was moving its first therapeutic toward clinical trials, so its platform claims were not yet supported by human efficacy or safety data at that point. The release explicitly states that its candidates had not been approved for commercial use or established as safe or effective.
Its multi-antigen designs also add development questions beyond the cell experiments described in a later AACR abstract. The published comparisons are preclinical; they do not establish how the constructs will perform against existing antibody-drug conjugates in patients.
