Product Overview

Telnyx offers a vertically integrated communications platform spanning voice AI agents, SIP trunking, programmable voice and messaging (SMS/MMS), phone number provisioning, wireless connectivity (eSIM/IoT SIM), WebRTC, AI inference, and storage APIs. Each product runs on the company's own Tier-1 carrier network across 40+ countries with direct interconnects rather than resold capacity.

The platform's flagship offering, Voice AI Agents, enables enterprises to build and deploy AI-powered phone agents with sub-second latency, custom LLM integration, and carrier-grade voice quality. Mission Control provides a unified portal for real-time monitoring, elastic scaling, and programmatic routing across all product lines.

Competitive Advantages

Telnyx owns and operates its own Tier-1 carrier network rather than reselling third-party capacity, giving it direct control over call quality, latency, and reliability from the network layer through the application layer. This vertical integration eliminates the quality variability that CPaaS competitors dependent on resold carrier capacity experience, and enables A-level STIR/SHAKEN attestation for verified call authentication.

The single-vendor stack—owning network, switching, and AI inference layers—means voice AI agents can achieve sub-300ms end-to-end latency because no cross-carrier handoffs or third-party API hops introduce delay. Telnyx also offers AI inference directly on its network, letting customers run LLM models alongside telephony without routing to separate cloud providers, reducing both cost and latency for voice AI workloads.
