Terakalis designs and manufactures non-destructive testing equipment for industrial and scientific sectors based on TeraHertz measurement and imaging systems.
Terakalis emerged from a technological partnership begun in 2012 with the Charles Coulomb Laboratory, a joint CNRS and University of Montpellier unit, and was renamed from T-Waves Technologies. The company designs and manufactures TeraHertz measurement and imaging systems as non-destructive testing equipment serving industrial and scientific sectors.
Its systems conduct defect inspection, measure thickness and characterize physico-chemical material properties across three product ranges suited to different operating environments. The firm provides advanced contactless material control and manufacturing process monitoring rather than destructive sampling or X-ray controls, with equipment sold and installed in automotive, aerospace and composite materials manufacturing sectors.
